Canada Day Red-and-White Smoothie Bowl
You can put it in a bowl and have red on one side and white on the other. Or you can put it in a clear glass jar and layer it red, white, and red. Up to you. :) Optional to add red and white ingredients as toppers too!
- White Layer Ingredients
- 1 banana, peeled and frozen
- 1/8 cup coconut milk
- shredded coconut
- Red Layer Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- Topping Options
- 1-2 tsp optional to add hemp seeds and/or coconut flakes for the white
- optional to add fresh fruit like cherries, strawberries, or raspberries for the red
Blend all the white ingredients. If you need to add some water, do it, but only a bit, and only a bit at a time, as you want this to remain nice and thick. Set white ingredients aside in a chilled bowl or in fridge while you blend the red.
